Measuring chaotic and cyclic fluctuations of cass freight index: Expenditures

Abstract

This article provides measuring and analysis of the chaotic dynamics of the Cass Freight Index: Expenditure for the period 2001–2014. Chaotic attractors for the position, force and phase portrait are developed, as well as long and medium cycles for econometric analysis of chaotic and cycle fluctuations of the index. The constructed attractors are used to measure conjunctural and cyclic characteristics of the transport index for the stochastic and economic dynamics
