Phraseological units of the English language containing proper names

Abstract

This study is the analysis of phraseological units, including proper names according to the classification that was created based on the previous classification of researchers. Overall, 92 phraseological units containing proper names in the book “The Painted Veil” by William Maugham were used for the practical part of the study. Phraseological units were analyzed and the results of the analysis were explained.
